SINOPSIS: en la sección de la revista HECHO HISTÓRICO publico el artículo "El Mont Blanc, primera gesta del alpinismo" donde relato cómo fue la primera ascensión al Mont Blanc, el pico más alto de los Alpes, en 1786 y que consiguieron Jacques Balmat y Michel-Gabriel Paccard.

SINOPSI: S'hi publica el meu article "OSLO, una capital entre natura", en el que explico unes quantes de les joies naturals, culturals i gastronòmiques que ofereix la capital de NORUEGA, des dels museus dels vaixells víkings, del Fram i de la Kon-Tiki fins a un passeig pel fiord o una visita a un dels seus edificis més emblemàtics, el de l'Òpera.
SINOPSIS: En el número de enero se publica mi artículo "BARRANQUILLA Y SANTA MARTA" donde exploro estas dos regiones del Caribe de COLOMBIA en busca de sus atractivos turísticos.
SINOPSIS: Se publica en la revista MUNTANYA, del CEC, mi artículo con tres recorridos por las islas de la Sociedad. En concreto, por Raiatea, Huahine y Bora Bora, en el que muestro que estas tres islas paradisíacas no solo tienen playas bonitas si no buenas e interesantes excursiones que combinan los paisajes espectaculares con naturaleza e historia.
SINOPSIS: En la revista TRAVELING publican un extenso reportaje sobre la POLINESIA FRANCESA en el que hablo sobre las islas de Tahití, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea y Bora Bora para explicar un poco de sus tradiciones, cultura, gastronomía, naturaleza y gente.
SINOPSIS: En el número de septiembre publico el artículo "Siguiendo los pasos del capitán Cook", donde resigo el itinerario del capitán James Cook por las Islas de la Sociedad en 1769 y documento cómo han cambiado estas islas de la POLINESIA FRANCESA a partir de la llegada de los primeros europeos.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "TAHITÍ, LA POSTAL DELS MARS DEL SUD" en el que describo lo que se puede ver en TAHITÍ y MOOREA, un par de las islas de la Sociedad, uno de los archipiélagos que conforman la POLINÈSIA FRANCESA.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "EL TRÁNSITO DE VENUS DE 1769" en el que explico cómo fueron las expediciones astronómicas para observar este fenómeno el año 1769 y hago especial énfasis en la expedición del capitán James Cook a Tahití, en la POLINESIA FRANCESA.
SINOPSIS: En la sección de Hechos históricos aparece mi artículo "JAMES COOK A LA CAZA DEL TRÁNSITO DE VENUS" donde explico el origen de la primera expedición alrededor del mundo del Capitán James Cook, con la misión de observar el Tránsito de Venus de 1769 desde Tahití, en la POLINESIA FRANCESA.
SINOPSIS: En la sección de Animales en la Historiaaparece mi artículo "EL NARVAL, UNICORNIO DEL RENACIMIENTO" en el que trazo la leyenda del unicornio y la enlazo con los colmillos de narval que empezaron a aparecer en Europa a partir de la Edad Media.
SINOPSIS: En la revista TRAVELING me hacen una entrevista para hablar de viajes y del último libro publicado, JOYAS CULTURALES EUROPEAS, describiendo algunas de las rutas más simbólicas para conocer el patrimonio europeu.
SINOPSIS: La Captain Cook Society edita trimestralmente la revista Cook's Log, y en la de este julio trae mi artículo explicando el viaje que hice a TAHITÍ siguiendo la pista del Capitán Cook que, a bordo del Endeavour, llegó para observar el Tránsit de Venus de 1769.
SINOPSIS: En la revista de viajes en euskera ZAZPI HAIZETARA se publica el reportaje que he escrito sobre la isla de MAURICIO a raíz del Festival Internasional Kreol en el que se reivindica la singularidad de la cultura creole de esta isla africana.
SINOPSIS: En la sección de Personajes Singulares de la revista se publica mi artículo "JAMES BROOKE, EL RAJÁ BLANCO DE BORNEO" en el que explico la vida de James Brooke, soldado, aventurero, mercader y rajá de BORNEO que inició una de les dinastías reales más curiosas de la historia.
SINOPSIS: En la sección de Animales en la Historia de la revista se publica mi artículo "EL AVESTRUZ: PLUMAS QUE VALÍAN SU PESO EN ORO" en el que describo cómo empezó la moda y el uso de las plumas de avestruz en Europa y cómo comenzaron las granjas de estos animales en SUDÁFRICA.
SINOPSIS: En el número de abril se publica mi reportaje "LA HABANA DE HEMINGWAY" en el que exploro el legat del escritor norteamericano Premio Nobel con la capital de CUBA, desde el primer hotel en el que se alojó hasta la casa que compró o los dos bares que solía frecuentar.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi reseña del libro LA VUELTA AL MUNDO DEL REY ZIBELINE, de Christophe Rufin, una novela que recrea la vida del explorador aristócrata conde Maurice August Benyovszky, que viajó por la Siberia de RÚSIA, ALASKA, CHINA, África y Europa y fue considerado rey en MADAGASCAR.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "FIJI, PARAÍSO TROPICAL" en el que explico un recorrido por la isla grande, Viti Levu, i la isla de Ovalau, donde está la antigua capital del país, Levuka. Tanto por sus playas como por su gente, su gastronomía o su història llena de anécdotas de caníbales y misioneros, FIJI es uno de los destinos más interesantes del Pacífico.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "BOMBAY, UNA CIUDAD DE PELÍCULA" en la que hablo de Bombay o Mumbai, una de las ciudades más interesantes de ÍNDIA y capital cinematográfica del país, por cuya razón recibe el nombre de Bollywood.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reseña del libro VOSS, de Patrick White, una novela que le valió el Premio Nobel de Literatura y que se inspira en la vida del explorador alemán Ludwig Leichhardt, que murió intentando atravesar el interior de AUSTRALIA.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TANNA, EDÉN INSULAR" en el que explico una visita a la isla de Tanna, en el archipiélago de VANUATU. La isla es famosa por su volcán Yassur, en erupción desde hace siglos y considerado uno de los volcanes més accessibles del mundo, pero también por sus tribus que han decidido prescindir de la modernidad.
SINOPSIS: En el número de diciembre se publica mi reportaje "TORTUGUERO, PURA VIDA SALVAJE DE COSTA RICA" donde describo una visita a este lugar de COSTA RICA célebre por la gran cantidad de tortugas marinas que vienen a desovar y que la convierten en uno de los lugares más importantes a nivel mundial para disfrutar de ellas.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "MAURICIO, naturaleza recuperada" en el que describo cómo en la isla de MAURICIO han ido recuperando algunas de las muchas especies endémicas amenazadas y donde parece que se revierte la trágica historia del dodo, una de las primeras especies registradas desaparecidas por la acción del hombre.
SINOPSIS: En el número de diciembre publico el artículo "En las fauces de FIYI", donde describo el viaje por las islas FIYI siguiendo el rastro del canibalismo que hace un par de siglos todavía existía en este archipiélago y que se puede ver en las crónicas de Ovalau, en el museo de Suva y en la cueva de Naihehe entre otros.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TRANSILVANIA, SIGUIENDO A DRÁCULA" en el que describo un periplo por esta zona de RUMANIA asociada con el rey de los vampiros. Menciono los castillos de Poenari y Bran, y las ciudades de Brasov y Sighisoara.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "LEVUKA: OASIS ENTRE LOS MARES DEL SUR" en el que visito la ciudad de LEVUKA en la Isla de Ovalau, en FIYI. Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO desde 2013, Levuka mantiene su carácter histórico desde 1820, cuando fue fundada por balleneros, comerciantes de sándalo, copra y misioneros.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi reportaje "Belgrado, la atractiva capital de SERBIA" en el que hago un breve recorrido por esta ciudad, una de les más antiguas del continente europeo, en la confluencia de dos grandes ríos y con una rica historia, cultura y gastronomía.
SINOPSIS: En el dominical ZAZPIKA (7K) del periódico GARA se publica mi reportaje "En los bosques del Pleistoceno" sobre los grandes bosques de Bialowieza, en POLONIA, donde todavía hay robles de más de 500 años y la última población salvaje de bisontes europeos del continente.
SINOPSIS: Se publica en la revista MUNTANYA, del CEC, mi artículo sobre la isla MAURICI, en el que describo tres rutas para descubrir diferentes ambientes de montaña llenos de naturaleza e historia: Le Morne Brabant, Île aux Aigrettes y La Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "SUAZILANDIA, el último reino de África" en el que hago un breve recorrido por SWAZILANDIA, la última monarquía absoluta del continente africano y que recientemente ha cambiado su nombre a eSWATINI.
SINOPSIS: La periodista Silvia Izquierdo me entrevista para hablar en la sección FOCUS EUROPA sobre algunos de los paisajes más espectaculares del continente a raíz de la publicación de mi libro LOS PAISAJES NATURALES MÁS FASCINANTES DE EUROPA.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "ROMA, Imperial y Barroca" en el que describo una visita a la capital de ITALIA para ver especialmente las ruinas de la antigua ciudad imperial y las posteriores construcciones de la época barroca, desde las iglesias hasta las fuentes.
SINOPSIS: En el número de julio se publica mi reportaje "CARTAGENA DE INDIAS" donde describo un itinerario por esta ciudad del Caribe de COLOMBIA rica en arquitectura, historia y gastronomía.
SINOPSIS: en el semanario dominical de uno de los periódicos demás tirada de Florida, con más de dos millones de lectores, se publica el artículo sobre CAPE TOWN, en SUDÁFRICA, que escribo junto a Sergi Reboredo con sus fotografías.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "VENECIA, entre góndolas, plazas y anécdotas" en el que describo una visita a una de las ciudades más conocidas del mundo, en ITALIA, pero haciendo hincapie en alguna de las zonas menos visitadas y desconocidas, fuera de la ruta clásica del turista.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "El tigre en la India, trofeo de maharajás", donde trazo la historia del tigre como animal icónico en las cacerías de los rajás de la ÍNDIA durante el raj británico, para acabar convirtiéndose en un animal en peligro de extinción.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TOKIO Y KYOTO, CONTRASTES DE JAPÓN" en el que escribo sobre las dos ciudades más conocidas de JAPÓN y menciono las principales diferencias pero también algunas de las similitudes que comparten.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TALLINN, LA PERLA DEL BÁLTICO" en el que escribo sobre la capital de ESTONIA, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO por su casco histórico tan bien conservado que la convierte en una de las ciudades más bonitas de Europa.
SINOPSIS: En la revista de viajes en euskera ZAZPI HAIZETARA se publica el reportaje conjunto que hemos preparado con Patxi Uriz con mi texto y sus fotografías: "GHANDRUK", un recorrido por uno de los trekkings más sencillos de NEPAL pero que permite gozar de una de las vistas más bonitas del Himalaya y uno de los pueblos más interesantes de las montañas de Asia.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi reportaje "ESAUIRA Y MARRAKECH: MAR Y MONTAÑA EN MARRUECOS" en el que escribo sobre estas dos ciudades de MARRUECOS, tan diferentes pero tan similares a la vez.
SINOPSIS: En la revista MUNDO NEGRO publico el artículo "MAURICIO, La Isla Criolla", en el que escribo sobre la descendencia de los esclavos llevados a la isla de MAURICIO y como han ido forjándose una cultura particular que ha acabado siendo un ejemplo de integración racial para todo el resto del mundo.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "OMÁN, LA ARABIA MÁS SUAVE" en el que escribo sobre la costa y el desierto de OMAN, relatando el interés de Mascate y de Sur, donde todavía quedan constructores de barcas tradicionales, y los castillos medievales cerca del desierto de Sharqiya.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "El dodo, el ave del país de las maravillas", donde explico la historia del descubrimiento del dodo en la isla de MAURICIO y su posterior extinción a causa de la introducción en la isla de animales foráneos que acabaron impidiendo su reproducción.
SINOPSIS: En el número de enero publico el artículo "Paricutín, el nacimiento de un volcán", donde describo con testigos como fue la erupción del volcán Paricutín en MÉXICO en 1943. Y también describo como es ahora una ascensión a lo alto del cono perfecto en medio de un campo de lava que ha sepultado un par de pueblos enteros.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "MAURICIO, LA ISLA PARAÍSO" en el que escribo sobre los lugares más interesantes de la isla de MAURICIO y repaso su historia a partir de su descubrimiento por los portugueses y comento sobre algunas especies endémicas que surgieron en ella, como el famoso dodo.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "El rinoceronte indio del rey Manuel I", donde cuento la historia del rinoceronte que el sultán de Cambay regaló al gobernador de la Índia portuguesa y que viajó hasta la corte de Manuel I y por el mediterráneo hasta Marsella y Roma.
SINOPSIS: En el número de diciembre publico el artículo "Primero fue Mauricio, después el cielo", donde hablo sobre los principales puntos de interés de la isla de MAURICIO a la vez que explico su historia y naturaleza, vinculada especialmente en la conservación de las especies de este paraíso natural.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "KERALA, LA VIGOROSA VIDA AL SUR DE INDIA" en el que explico algunas de las visitas obligadas si se viaja a Kerala, en el sur de INDIA. Backwaters, cultura y naturaleza con selvas tropicales.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi artículo "Los leones devoradores de hombres de Tsavo", donde explico la historia de los dos leones devoradores de hombres que impidieron durante un tiempo la construcción del ferrocarril de KENYA a UGANDA.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "BUDAPEST, CASTILLOS Y PALACIOS AL LADO DEL DANUBIO" en el que explico algunos de los puntos más interesantes de visita a la ciudad de Budapest, la capital de HUNGRIA.
SINOPSIS: En el número de noviembre publico el artículo "EL FERROCARRIL BARRANCAS DEL COBRE", en el que describo un viaje a bordo del Tren del Chepe que recorre les Barrancas del Cobre, una extensión de cañones geológicos en el estado de Chihuahua de MÉXICO.
SINOPSIS: En el número de noviembre se publica mi reportaje "DESCUBRE CUBA" donde describo un itinerario por la isla más grande de las Antillas descubriendo la esencia de Cuba y visitando lugares como Baracoa, Santiago de Cuba, Camagüey, Trinidad, Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, La Habana y Viñales.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TREKKING DE GHANDRUK EN NEPAL", en el que explico como este recorrido por las montañas bajas del NEPAL nos puede acercar a una de las comunidades más sorprendentes del país, los gurung, y uno de los paisajes más bellos, la sierra de los Annapurna.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "CASAMANCE, EL MUNDO APARTE DE SENEGAL" en el que recorro el sur de SENEGAL por la región de la Casamance, una zona donde el paisaje, la gente, la lengua y la cultura son muy distintos de los del norte del país: una tierra con reyes, brujos, bosques y playas paradisíacas.
SINOPSIS: En el número de octubre publico el artículo "MÁS ALLÁ DEL MONTE NIMBA", donde describo la aproximación y la ascensión al Monte Nimba, el pico más alto de GUINEA y que hace frontera con LIBERIA y COSTA DE MARFIL. Descubro ahí una selva tropical en peligro con un gran protagonista: el chimpanzé.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "TRADICIONES VIVAS EN EL ANCESTRAL PAÍS DOGÓN" en el que explico lo que se puede ver en un trekking por el País Dogón de MALI siguiendo los caminos que recorren el acantilado de Bandiagara, en el sureste del país, una tierra habitada por los Dogón, que han conseguido mantener muchas de sus tradiciones intactas.
SINOPSIS: En el número de septiembre publico el artículo "TREKKING EN EL PAÍS DOGÓN", donde describo una ruta de cuatro días por el País Dogón de MALI a lo largo del acantilado de Bandiagara y los asentamientos arriba y abajo del precipicio, una de les excursiones más interesantes de toda África.
SINOPSIS: En la revista MUNDO NEGRO se publica el artículo "El País Dogón", donde describo la vida y costumbres de los Dogón que viven a lo largo del acantilado de Bandiagara, en MALI, y que recorrí en un trekking.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "La fiebre del caucho que ensangrentó el Amazonas", en el que explico el por qué se dio la Fiebre del Caucho y detallo algunas de las atrocidades realizadas por hombres como Julio César Arana o Carlos Fermín Fitzcarrald en las selvas de BRASIL, PERÚ y COLOMBIA explotando el oro blanco del Amazonas.
SINOPSIS: Se publica en la revista MUNTANYA, del CEC, dentro del especial sobre el NEPAL, mi artículo "LA SELVA DE CHITWAN" en el que hablo del Parque Nacional del sur del país donde abundan aún tigres, elefantes, monos y, especialmente, rinocerontes indios, visibles en una diversidad de excursiones que permiten conocer la naturaleza y los pueblos que viven en Chitwan. SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "CHITWAN, ENTRE BOSQUES TROPICALES Y DENSA SELVA" en el que explico por qué la selva de Chitwan, en el sur de NEPAL, es uno de los lugares imprescindibles en una visita a este país asiático: elefantes, cocodrilos, tigres y, sobre todo, rinocerontes indios.

SINOPSIS: S'hi publica el meu reportatge "NÉGUEV, EL DESIERTO DE ISRAEL", en el que explico una ruta por el desierto más grande de ISRAEL contando sobre su geología, historia, leyendas y habitantes.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "DJERBA, PARAÍSO MEDITERRÁNEO" en el que explico qué se puede ver en esta isla de la costa de TÚNEZ llena de leyendas, historia y tradiciones, desde los antiguos griegos hasta los romanos, los aragoneses, castellanos, turcos y, finalmente, los propios tunecinos.
SINOPSIS: En el número de julio-agosto publico el artículo "TREKKING en GHANDRUK, NEPAL", donde explico como es un trekking de tres días por uno de los recorridos más sencillos pero más escénicos de NEPAL, visitando pueblos de la etnia gurung y viendo las montañas del Annapurna.
SINOPSIS: En el número de julio se publica mi reportaje "GUNA YALA, el Paraíso de PANAMÁ" donde describo una estancia en una de las islas del antiguo archipélago de San Blas, ahora llamado Guna Yala, un conjunto de islas autónomas de Panamá.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "Barrancas del Cobre" sobre el recorrido en el Tren del Chepe por los inmensos cañones del Norte de MÉXICO donde viven los Rarámuri (también llamados Tarahumara), una etnia local especializada en correr largas distancias.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi reportaje "CARTAGENA DE INDIAS y el encanto del caribe colombiano" en el que hago una recopilación de las atracciones de esta ciudad del Caribe de COLOMBIA, patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO por su estructura colonial magníficamente conservada.
SINOPSIS: En el número de junio publico el artículo "TÚNEZ, la puerta del desierto", en el que describo la aventura de adentrarse en el Sahara con quad para ir a descubrir una antigua fortaleza del siglo II d.C. construída por los romanos en medio del desierto de TÚNEZ en Ksar Ghilane.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "VALLE SAGRADO DE LOS INCAS: GRANDEZA EN LOS ANDES" donde describo los atractivos turísticos y paisajísticos de este valle sagrado para los incas y que contiene algunos de los patrimonios arquitectónicos incas más famosos de PERÚ, como Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Písac,...
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "Los últimos bisontes europeos" donde explico un viaje por el lado de POLONIA del Bosque de Bialowieza, el último bosque primario de Europa donde todavía vive una importante población de bisontes europeos salvajes.
SINOPSIS: En la revista de AMERICAN EXPRESS para MÉXICO se publica este mes el reportaje con fotografías de Sergi Reboredo y texto compartido con él sobre un crucero con el Paul Gauguin, el barco que recorre las islas de la POLINESIA FRANCESA y descubre este archipiélago que forma parte de los territorios de ultramar de FRANCIA.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi reportaje "Tras los pasos de Montalbano", en el que hago un recorrido por el sudeste de Sicilia, ITALIA, siguiendo los pasos del comisario Salvo Montalbano, el personaje de las novelas de Andrea Camilleri cuyos casos siempre suceden alrededor de la región de Ragusa.

SINOPSI: Se publica mi reportaje "UYUNI, ESPECTACULAR DESIERTO DE SAL" donde hago un recorrido por las maravillas geológicas, naturales y paisajísticas que se pueden ver en el Salar de Uyuni, el desierto de sal más grande del mundo, en BOLIVIA.

SINOPSIS: En el número de abril publico el artículo "Las últimas redes de Fort Kochi", sobre lo que queda del sistema de redes de pesca que introdujeron los chinos en Kerala, ÍNDIA, y que ha persistido durante siglos hasta que la reducción de la pesca y el alto coste del mantenimiento han obligado a los pescadores a abandonarlas.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "Alexander Selkirk, el verdadero Robinson", donde relato la historia del náufrago Alexander Selkirk, abandonado en una isla delante de las costas de CHILE en 1704 y que sirvió de inspiración para el personaje de Robinson Crusoe en la novela de Daniel Defoe.

SINOPSIS: En el número de marzo se publica mi reportaje "CARIBE DE MÉXICO" donde describo qué queda de la cultura Maya en la península del Yucatán de MÉXICO, junto al Caribe, con algunas de las ruinas más impresionantes de toda América Central.
SINOPSIS: En el número 14 se publica mi artículo "INDONESIA, LA MUERTE EN TANA TORAJA", donde describo los rituales funerarios y la historia y cultura del pueblo Toraja en la isla de Sulawesi de INDONESIA, con grandes y largas ceremonias de entierro y en recuerdo de sus muertos.
SINOPSIS: Publico un artículo sobre el Museo Heart of Cape Town del hospital Groote Schuur de Ciudad del Cabo, en SUDÁFRICA, donde se recrean los dos quirófanos que sirvieron al Dr. Christiaan Barnard para realizar el primer trasplante de corazón humano hace 50 años.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "COSTA RICA: Pura Vida natural" donde describo una visita a cuatro Parques Naturales de COSTA RICA (Corcovado, Tortuguero, Poás y Monteverde) para conocer sus plantas, animales y geología.
SINOPSIS: En el número de febrero publico el artículo "KAWAH IJEN, la mina del infierno", sobre las difíciles condiciones de vida de los mineros del Este de Java, que extraen cada día el azufre solidificado de la caldera de este volcán de INDONESIA. La montaña es también un destino turístico de los más sorprendentes de Asia.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "SVALBARD, la suprema belleza del Ártico" en el que describo alguna de las actividades invernales que se pueden hacer en este archipiélago de NORUEGA: excursiones en moto de nieve, esquí, visitas a cuevas de hielo y experiencias gastronómicas curiosas.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "Buscando elefantes indios" donde describo un viaje por INDIA y SRI LANKA buscando elefantes asiáticos. Más allá de los templos y las procesiones, las plantaciones y los trabajos en los bosques o los paseos para turistas, en estos dos países todavía quedan elefantes salvajes.
SINOPSIS: En la revista MUNDO NEGRO publico el artículo "En busca de la tierra perdida", en el que hablo sobre el estado actual de las reclamaciones que los bosquimanos de BOTSWANA hicieron a su gobierno a raíz de la prohibición de vivir en el Parque Nacional Kalahari, su tierra ancestral.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "Luxemburgo, aires del medievo sobre acantilados" donde repaso los lugares más interesantes de la ciudad de LUXEMBURGO y donde hago una fugaz visita al castillo de Vianden, uno de los más impresionantes de Europa.
SINOPSI: En el número de diciembre se publica mi reportaje "La isla bonita de Belice" donde describo las virtudes de la isla de San Pedro de BELICE, cantadas ya por Madonna como Isla Bonita y donde la calma, el buceo y la buena gastronomía invitan a relajarse.
SINOPSI: Se publica mi artículo "Navegación estelar en Polinesia", donde describo la historia de la navegación sin instrumentos que permitió a los navegantes polinesios descubrir todas las islas del Océano Pacífico inscritas dentro del Triángulo Polinesio, desde NUEVA ZELANDA a RAPA NUI y hasta HAWAII.
SINOPSI: En el número de diciembre publico el artículo "BIAŁOWIEŻA, el Último Bosque de Europa", donde describo la experiencia de visitar el bosque de BIAŁOWIEŻA al Este de POLONIA, el último bosque primario del continente donde todavía viven bisontes europeos. El artículo ha recibido el primer premio en el primer concurso de Relatos Viajeros organizado por la revista Magellan y la Escuela de Escritura Laboratori de Lletres. SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "LAS CATARATAS VICTORIA, UNA OBRA MAESTRA", donde describo una visita a las famosas cataratas Victoria del río Zambeze, entre ZAMBIA y ZIMBABWE, "descubiertas" por David Livingstone en 1855 y bautizadas en honor de la reina de Inglaterra.
SINOPSIS: Se publica en la web mi artículo "TREKKING POR EL KRUGER" dentro de la sección VIAJAR y DESCUBRIENDO ÁFRICA, en el que describo una excursión a pie por el interior del Parque Nacional más grande de SUDÁFRICA buscando rastros de animales y conociendo de cerca su naturaleza.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "UN TREKKING POR EL PAÍS DOGÓN", donde trazo un itinerario montañero por la base y la cima del acantilado de Bandiagara, en MALI, donde vive todavía el pueblo Dogón y que conserva algunas de sus tradiciones animistas.
SINOPSIS: En el número de noviembre publico el artículo "KOMODO, viaje a la leyenda", donde hago un recorrido por la isla de Komodo, en INDONESIA, para ver a los famosos dragones gigantes, animales de leyenda que hasta el siglo XX no pudieron ser confirmados por la ciencia.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi artículo "Entre Alaska y Canadá: Los Españoles en el Gran Norte", en el que relato la historia de las exploraciones de la costa noroeste de América por los españoles hasta llegar a ALASKA y CANADÁ.
SINOPSIS: Se publica mi reportaje "Weimar, cuna del romanticismo alemán" sobre la ciudad de Weimar, en ALEMANIA, donde vivieron genios de la talla de Goethe y Schiller que iniciaron el romanticismo en el país.
SINOPSIS: En el número de octubre publico el artículo "TAUTAVEL, un viaje al pasado de 450.000 años" en el que describo una visita al Museo del Hombre de Tautavel y la Caune de l'Arago en FRANCIA para conocer el lugar de excavación de los restos del homínido más viejo del país, con 450.000 años.
SINOPSIS: Se publica en la revista MUNTANYA del CEC un largo reportaje sobre la ruta del trekking del Chilkoot Trail que conecta ALASKA y CANADA siguiendo la ruta de los buscadores de oro que describo en el libro TIERRAS DEL NORTE.

SYNOPSIS: It ispublished my article "MAURITIUS, recovered nature" in which I describe how in the island of MAURITIUS there has been a recovery of many endangered endemic species and where the history of dodo (one of the first registered species to be lost due to human actions) apparently is not going to repeat itself.

SINOPSIS: en el primer número del año de la revista ZOO Oh!, la revista del ZOO de Barcelona, se publica mi artículo "Viaje a Komodo", en el que describo el viaje que hicimos este octubre pasado a la isla de Komodo, en INDONESIA. Desde Lombok tomamos una barca tradicional para costear la isla de Sumbawa y llegar hasta la remota Komodo, la isla de los Dragones, donde pudimos ver en libertad a los célebres y casi míticos dragones.

Balto es seguramente el perro más conocido de aquella aventura, pero Togo, el perro líder del trineo de Seppala, tuvo un papel crucial sin el cual no hubiera sido possible el transporte de la antitoxina que salvó al pueblo de Nome.
SINOPSIS: se publica mi artículo "Perros, mushers y trineos contra la difteria", que narra las vicisitudes de los relieves de trineos de perros que en 1925 se organizó desde Anchorage hasta la población de Nome, ALASKA, donde había aparecido un brote de difteria, para llevar el serum curativo.

SINOPSIS: en la sección Por Libre se publica mi relato del viaje al POLO NORTE para recorrer el último grado (del 89 al 90º). Fueron 111 km sobre esquíes, arrastrando trineos con todos los víveres, tiendas y sacos de dormir, sorteando grietas y montañas de hielo con dos compañeros y nuestro guía, el polarista español Ramón Larramendi.
SINOPSIS: aparece mi artículo "Kamehameha, el primer rey de las Islas Hawái", donde repaso con fotografías y texto la biografía de Kamehameha I el Grande, el unificador de las antiguas islas Sandwich, y el primero de la dinastía de los Kamehameha, la primera monarquía de todo el archipiélago de HAWAII.
SINOPSIS: se publica mi artículo "El último tren de Alaska" en el que con texto y fotografías repaso la historia del Council City and Solomon River Railroad, un tren minero de principios de siglo XX que unía Salmon River (cerca de la ciudad de Nome) con Council City. La empresa que lo construyó quebró y desde entonces el tren fantasma ha quedado encallado en el permafrost de la tundra de ALASKA.
SINOPSIS: se publica el artículo "El Ferrocarril de las Barrancas del Cobre" dentro de la revista INFLIGHT que reciben todos los pasajeros de los vuelos de AVIANCA durante octubre 2012. Con texto y fotos, describo el recorrido desde Chihuahua hasta Los Mochis a bordo del tren del Chepe, que atraviesa las famosas Barrancas del Cobre en MEXICO.
Se imprimen un total de 120.000 ejemplares de AVIANCA EN REVISTA, considerada la primera publicación de abordo de América Latina y ganadora del premio APEX 2011 como Best Inflight Magazine.
SINOPSIS: se publica mi reportaje sobre el cine en HAWAII: "Hawai, un paraíso de cine", que incluye fotografías de cuando estuve allí y se centra en recorrer aquellos lugares del archipiélago que han sido utilizados por Hollywood como telón de fondo para sus producciones. SYNOPSIS: in the first number of the year of ZOO de Barcelona's magazine (ZOO Oh!) is published my article "Travel to Komodo" were I write about the travel that we didin october 2012 to Komodo Island, in INDONESIA. From Lombok, we took a traditional boat to navigate through Sumbawa to the far and distant Komodo, the Dragon Island, were we could see the nearly mythical dragons in their habitat.
SYNOPSIS: in "Balto and Togo, the heroes of Nome" I explain the facts of the 1925 serum run to Nome, ALASKA, and investigate on the life of Leonhard Seppala, the best musher in history who really had the credit for the success of the run. Balto is possibly the best known dog of that adventure, but Togo, the leader of Seppala's pack, had a unique role without whom the diphteria serum could not have been brought to Nome.

The company went bankrupt and since then the ghost train has remained stuck frozen on ALASKA's tundra permafrost.

A total of 120.000 copies of AVIANCA EN REVISTA are distributed among the passengers and the magazine is considered the first inflight publication in latinamerican and winner of APEX 2011 prize as Best Inflight Magazine.
SYNOPSIS: my article on the cinema in HAWAII is published under the title: "Hawaii, a cinema paradise", and includes photos of the places in the islands that Hollywood has used as outdoor sets for its productions. "South Pacific", "The Descendants, "Pearl Harbor" and "Jurassic Park" were filmed in Hawaii, as such TV series as "Magnum" and "Lost". The article focuses mainly in Kauai Island, the oldest of the islands, and set for the initial scene of "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
